These include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"flech\">\n<li class=\"detail\">Certain limited service\/economy hotel properties (below 3-diamond rating)<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Most home offices<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Fast food franchises<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Spas<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Gyms<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Single-location retailers<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Direct sales or direct marketing companies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Additionally, CIEE cannot sponsor interns in the following occupations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"flech\">\n<li class=\"detail\">Maids or any other domestic work such as baby-sitting or housekeeping<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Medical interns or interns involved in hands-on therapy, counseling, administering treatment or making diagnoses of medical, psychiatric or psychological conditions<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Pharmacy positions directly related to dispensing medication to patients<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Veterinary interns involved in hands-on care of animals<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Pilots or crewmembers on ships or airplanes<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Teachers or educational instructors<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Temporary or staffing agency employees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some observation internship programs in the sectors listed above can be accepted.
